The second season of the American television series “Loki,” based on Marvel Comics and featuring the titular character, Loki, follows his journey alongside characters like Mobius M. Mobius, Hunter B-15, and others from the Time Variance Authority (TVA) as they navigate the multiverse to locate Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes. This season is set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), maintaining continuity with the franchise’s films. It is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as the head writer, and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team.

The main cast includes Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki, alongside Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Eugene Cordero, Neil Ellice, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Renslayer, Tara Strong as Miss Minutes, Jonathan Majors returning from the first season, along with Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Ke Huy Quan. The development of a second season was in progress by November 2020 and officially confirmed in July 2021. By late February 2022, Martin, Benson, and Moorhead were all hired for the project. Filming took place from June to October 2022 at Pinewood Studios, and in June 2023, Dan DeLeeuw and Kasra Farahani were announced as additional directors for the season.

The second season premiered on Disney+ on October 5, 2023, and is scheduled to consist of six episodes, concluding on November 9, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
